Kerry Folsom (Mandolin)

Kerry Folsom has played mandolin, mandola, mandocello and octave mandolin for 7 years. He has also played guitar for 19 years. He studied with Craig White at Rose State College and Danny Vaughan at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he received his Bachelors in String Performance and Masters of Music degree. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Composition at the University of Oklahoma, where he studies with Marvin Lamb.

Kerry plays mandolin in the University of Oklahoma New Century Improv! Ensemble. He performs improvisatory world music on mandolin and guitar at various establishments throughout the metro area. Kerry specializes in world, jazz and folk music.
