Benjamin Carter (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Rock Clinic)

Benjamin Carter has been a member of the Norman community all his life, playing music professionally for nearly 13 years. In addition to classical training in double bass and music theory, he has studied bass guitar, electric/acoustic guitar, classical guitar, piano and violin. He has been a part of the local music scene for 10 years and has taught independently for nearly 3 years. Benjamin has a wide range of musical tastes from rock and pop to country, metal and blues. He was the founding member of Lazarus IV and also had a small tenure in The Mimsies. Benjamin has been on several national and regional tours with many bands. He currently plays as a session musician at Zanzibar Studios and with the local band Circe.
