Anne-Valerie Brittan (Piano, Theory/Composition)

Anne-Valerie Brittan received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Composition from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Composition at OU where she studies with Marvin Lamb. She has previously studied composition with Jason Bahr and Rob Deemer. She also earned a D.E.U.G in Musicology at the University of Nice in France.

As a Graduate Assistant at OU, Anne-Valerie has taught Freshman and Sophomore-level Aural Skills courses to music majors for 3 years under the direction of OU Music Theory Department Chair Ken Stephenson. She has studied piano at the Conservatoire in Cannes, France, as well as with Stephan May in Nice, France.
